Chris and Lucy asked me to be their Fentham Hall wedding photographer back in April and what a great party these guys put on!!
Earlier in the year Chris and Lucy and I met up for a Cardiff engagement shoot (which you can see here); these guys are wonderful people and really comfortable in front of the camera so I was mega excited for their wedding day!
Lucy got ready with her bridesmaids in Knowle, both at her family home and at The Boutique hair salon. The ceremony took place at Knowle Parish Church and luckily the rain just about held off for long enough for us to capture some group photos in the church grounds. The rest of the day took place at Fentham Hall, which had been beautifully styled by Chris, Lucy and friends the day before. After drinks and canapés, the father of the bride gave his speech, shortly followed by the cake cutting. The bride and groom then welcomed everyone into the main hall, ready for a great wedding breakfast and hilarious speeches! During a break in the rain the three of us went outside to take some bride and groom portraits; after having had an engagement shoot earlier in the year, Chris and Lucy smashed this!! The first dance began the party, and what a party it was!! I don’t think I’ve every laughed so hard at a wedding reception before, this was a really spectacular wedding.
