Kat and Alex had an amazing wedding day at Ash Barton Estate back in October!

We met back in 2018 at James and Jessica’s wedding just a few miles away, Kat was totally owning her fabulous bump with baby Rufus inside, and Alex and little Wilf were owning the entire dance floor! Needless to say I was thrilled when Kat got in touch to say her and Alex were engaged and looking for their wedding photographer.

The Value of Holding a Wedding Album in Your Hands

The Value of Holding a Wedding Album in Your Hands

Why have a wedding album? I want to take you back to Spring 2017 - I was back home visiting my parents in Cambridgeshire, and my lovely friends and past clients Emily and Shane were visiting Emily’s parents, just a few doors down from where my parents live. We had realised this fine fate, and with their Sweden destination wedding coming up in August, we seized the opportunity to have a wedding meeting to go over their styling and ideas and most importantly the logistics and running order of the day. My Mum was thrilled to hear Emily and Shane’s plans (having known Emily since she was young) and loved asking questions about the dress, the food and all the other details. It wasn’t long before she went rummaging upstairs to pull out her wedding album from the mid 1970s, to show Emily and Shane exactly what my parents did for their wedding.

Mark and Kathleen asked me to be their Corinthia Hotel wedding photographer back in September. They had a wonderfully intimate wedding with just their closest family attending, and made full use of some of the beautiful sights central London has to offer!

Carys and Kyle asked me to be their Nantwen wedding photographer at their intimate wedding back in June.

Their ceremony took place in the barn with their family, close friends and family dogs all as witnesses! After making their vows, being showered with confetti, drinks and group photos, Carys, Kyle and I head off to Newport Sands for some photos of just the two of them.

Back in May I had the great privilege of being Katie and Stefan's Nantwen wedding photographer!

It's always a pleasure shooting at Nantwen and May is a beautiful time of year here in Wales; the ferns have thickened out the hedgerows and the wild flowers add flurries of colour amongst the greens. Katie and Stefan had a very intimate ceremony in front of the fireplace with their parents and son by their sides, surrounded by Katie's flower arrangements which she had dotted around the cottage.

Chris and Lucy asked me to be their Fentham Hall wedding photographer back in April and what a great party these guys put on!!

Earlier in the year Chris and Lucy and I met up for a Cardiff engagement shoot (which you can see here); these guys are wonderful people and really comfortable in front of the camera so I was mega excited for their wedding day!
